Product Safety & Regulations Manager (m/w/d)
 

Your tasks with us

  • You are familiar with the German and international REACH regulations; in the event of adjustments or innovations, you independently derive the necessary adjustments and inform employees and other stakeholders
  • Answering customer inquiries about our products and product safety is part of your area of responsibility
  • You develop strategic product stewardship goals and implement them with the Management Team
  • You will maintain direct contact with authorities, associations and consultants in the fields of chemistry, law and product safety
  • You ensure compliance and implementation of all legal obligations, such as the registration of products, coordination of SIEF activities, expert tasks according to        §5 ChemVerbotsV
  • You take part in Europe-wide meeting of professional associations and workshops

This is what makes you successful with us

  • Successfully completed Chemistry studies, min. 3 years of professional product stewardship/ regulatory experience – in a production / manufacturing environment in high hazard industries
  • Good knowledge and overview of relevant international legislation and regulation
  • Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, Dynamics 365, EHS) 
  • Confident appearance towards customers, authorities, associations
  • Good command of written and spoken German and English 
  • Self-starter, innovator, able to work autonomously, with little direction; structured and methodical way of working
  • High level of teamwork and working collaboratively
  • Excellent communication assertiveness skills to engage and gain buy in across all levels within the business from site level through to board level
  • Very good analytical and judgmental skills with Project management experience
